PEACHES
Finally someone has watched this one!

Peaches, by: ~
CypressElf Hey! I finally saw Peaches...it's out in the US...at least in California...It's a pretty good movie, very Australian. I found that the love scenes between Hugo's character the 18-year-old girl he has a fling with to be very disturbing. Its just...not right. Anyways, hope it gets to Argentina soon!
MAY 06 / 2008

I SAW ITTT!!!

It never arrives to my country, so I have to get it in another way!

Without spanish subtitles (if anyone knows where I could find english subtitles for this movie, please share!) it was a bit difficult to me.
Ok, now the coments: HUGO IS SO DAMM HOOOTT!!! Yesss, I know you know it, but we all wanted to hear it one more time, don't you? For those lovers of Bedrooms and hallways scenes, this film offers Hugo in boxers, in glasses, without them, Hugo swimming, a lot of THAT kind of grin he has... his confident in acting is just exciting, he truly enjoys and feels so confortable and natural in every scene.
Once again, you can't miss it! Incredible actor, always surprise me. (Yeas, because we don't just love your body, lips, eyes, hair, hands, voice, we LOOOVE how you use them

THE GIRL WHO SWALLOWED BEES (2006)
Written by: Paul McDermott

Status: to be screened at the Berlinale in the short film competition, February 2007
Starring: Pia Miranda
Narrated by: Hugo Weaving
Plot:
A young girl consumed by bitterness decides to take drastic and irredeemable measures to put an end to her continual suffering. After running through a number of darkly humorous options for her demise she settles on the terribly romantic "death by swallowing bees". Intent on her mission, she sets off for the woods where "bees are said to hide". There, in the shade of an impossibly beautiful oak, she disturbs a hive only to discover, much to her amazement, the bees have other plans for her and for her bitter heart.

RIFLEMIND (2007)
[link]John (Hugo Weaving) was once the frontman in one of the worlds biggest bands, Riflemind.
Now John and his wife Lynn are safe from the world in their walled country house. Money and anonymity, however, wont protect them from themselves or their past.
Fame and its attendant luxuries are addictive. Addictions almost ruined both their lives. Well away from that life they are now safe. Unhappy, silent, fragile, but safe.
Until the pressure of a comeback tour bears down upon John. And the band simply can not work without him. Crunch time. A weekend of music-making is planned at John and Lynns estate. As soon as the band turns up plus their associated spouses, lovers and hangers-on its a rocknroll circus.
Riflemind captures, with delicacy, precision and a beguiling black humour, a series of relationships languishing in the backwaters of co-dependent love, greed and need. Despite, or because of, their apparent affluence, social privilege, preposterous egos, septic past and rock-god lifestyle, each of them struggles to find redemption.
Over this weekend they will open old wounds, lose their way, play great music and, perhaps, stumble into a more certain future.

John (the band's frontman) .... Hugo Weaving

THE MATRIX - SMITH´S QUOTES

"Never send a human to do a machine's job"

"Do you hear that, Mr. Anderson? That is the sound of inevitability!"

"I'm going to enjoy watching you die, Mr. Anderson"
(~
FloweringWolfsbane ´s favourites)

"I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species. I realized that you're not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You move to an area, and you multiply, and multiply, until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet, you are a plague, and we are the cure."

"Bernadette: We've only recently discovered that young Anthony here, bats for both teams.
Mitzi: I do not!
Felicia: Oh, so we're straight?
Mitzi: No.
Felicia: Oh, we're not. So we're a donut puncher, after all?
Mitzi: No.
Felicia: Then what the fuck are we?
Mitzi: I don't fuckin' know."

V FOR VENDETTA

"Evey Hammond: Who are you?
V: Who? Who is but the form following the function of what, and what I am is a man in a mask.
Evey Hammond: Well I can see that.
V: Of course you can. I'm not questioning your powers of observation, I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is".

"V: It is to Madame Justice that I dedicate this concerto."

"V: People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people".
